I am looking for ancestors, siblings, of Joseph Kerr Boyer, born c. 1800 in PA

Question

I have an ancestor, Samuel K. Boyer, Sr (b. 1809) and Samuel K. Boyer, Jr. his son, but cannot find Sam Sr's parents.  I was thinking that the K middle initial might be important, and found Joseph Kerr Boyer, born @1800. If he is a brother to our Samuel, someone might know about them.  It's a long shot, I know.  Samuel K Boyer Sr was born in Newport, which was near Carlisle, PA, where he met his wife, Margaretta Sanno, whose father was at Carlisle Barracks until 1865. Samuel K Boyer Jr's daughter Juniata Boyer married Wilson Kissinger; they were my great grandparents and lived in Perry County, PA. The Kissingers ended up in Mill Hall, PA, now Clinton County.

Thank you.  Since there are no siblings named Samuel, I am guessing that Kerr is not the middle initial I am looking for.  There are so many Boyers and I see so many other people finding their Boyers; I am so disappointed that we don't seem to find ours.  Samuel K Boyer, Sr, MUST have a parent somewhere!

<sigh> On with the search!  It will be that much sweeter when I find it! ;-)
