I am trying to locate parents for Frank C Fritz, raised by grandparent How do I do this?

Question

How do I locate Frank's parents, possibly passing between 1876 and 1900 based on the birth of a possible sibling and census of him with grand parents.  I see he was born in Wallingford, CT and see some siblings. His parents most likely were born in Germany or Prussia.  I can find no record of them, only guess.  Grand parents are definitely Christoph and Eva Fritz.

There are Frank (b. 1847/8) and Elizabeth Fritz of Wallingford, CT, both listed born in Germany, with son Frank, b. in CT about 1879/80.  Which Frank,  jr. or sr. are you trying to locate? See 1880 and 1900 census at:

Information that is certain for my Grandfather Frank Clifford Fritz: born 29 Dec 1892  in Connecticut, and died 22 September 1964 in Colorado.  The 1900 US census has him and a brother (Theodore born 1893) living with grandparents Christopher and Eva.  I believe 1910 they are with a cousin or elder sister Lena (Ferriere).  A NY passenger list for 1882 has Christopher and Eva with 2 children Clara and Theodore.  It gets very confusing for me due to not knowing all children for Chris and Eva.  Best I can tell they included Lena (B 1857), my unknown, Theodor (B 1873) and Clara (B 1876). I think there are more.

My search for birth records for Frank C. have not been successful. Other siblings for Frank: Edith (B 1888), Harry (B 1889), and Theodore (B 1893)

Through Ancestry.com DNA I have located a 2nd cousin from a brother of Frank (Harry 1889).

What I had to do is look at their siblings and maybe a parents name will be disclosed that way or in an obituary for siblings.  I have found you have to start thinking outside the box.

Get as many copies of census for different family members as elderly parents may have moved in with one of their adult children, which frequently happens.

No luck so far finding any birth records for Frank C or his siblings, so no leads to his unknown parents.

I am in the middle of the exactly the same kind of mess with the father of Jesse P. Fritz.  His father Harry Fritz from Steuben Main.  Notes from the family noted names like clayton & Lizzie & Fannie.  I assumed they were relatives.  This was relative to who was going to take Jesse Jr. as his father  Jesse SR was killed three months before his birth.  I have followed up on all the names looking to see who raised Jesse Jr with some luck.  Also hoping to find a trail for Harry.  I did find two pieces of information that he was born in Germany.  No information on his parents.  I feel like I have turned every stone over, which is what you have to do to find connections and I understand you will find them in the least likely spot.  The Fritz family is quite large in Maine and possibly it is the same way in Conneticut.

She is going to have to follow up on every sibling she encounters as you never know where the parents will show up.
