Thank you Anne B. for correcting the parentage of John Eaton of Haverhill yesterday.  Now can I get you or someone to correct the maiden name of his wife.  She is currently Anne Crossman-10 – this needs to be corrected to Anne Unknown.

There is a full explanation at the bottom of her page.   Basically, this is a very old error based on an incorrect ‘name’s the same’ identification, but there are two different John Eaton’s married to two different Ann’s.  As you will see in the discussion:

John Eaton of Haverhill was a cooper from Warwickshire; the other John Eaton was a parish priest in London.

John Eaton of Haverhill was born 1590; John Eaton of London was born 1581.

Anne Crossman of London was born c1585 – too old to have children in 1639.

Please change Anne Crossman-10 to Anne Unknown.

I am placing notices as to the change on appropriate profiles. In a few days, assuming I hear no objections. I will change the name.
