We are seeking the parents of James Bryan born in 1823.

Question

I am interested in finding the parents of James Bryan born in 1823.  He married Sarah Patton in Martinsburg, VA (now WVa).  James and Sarah lived in Dover, Ohio (Tuscarawas County).  They had two sons, George and Joseph. Our family has been trying to find his parents for many years.  Records indicate that Maryland may have been where James was born but we always get a dead end.
