My question is specific to Sarah Booth-170, who may need PPP along with her husband John Osgood-3. Both are PGM. Someone has added a new husband and child onto her profile, citing a rootsweb article citing ancestry trees. Now it takes a huge leap of imagination to suppose that addition could be true. How a girl born about 1600 in Wherwell Hampshire would have a teen marriage with a man old enough to be her father from Norfolk, a long way away, have a child and abandon him in Ireland, and then come back to marry in her home town and then emigrate to America without the Irish son -- this lacks credulity. Then there are the middle names for people born in this time period. My questions are these; can this be PPP? I have put up a note on Booth-170, but is it appropriate just to prune off these clearly inaccurate branches without asking? Or should I defer to others who may have dealt with it before? Thx.
