Finding missed Gedcompare matches

My GEDCompare 61831 is larger than I thought. I've gone through and selected matches and rejects (333). I clicked for Approve and it tells me I have some that have not been cleared yet and lists the names.

I don't think I missed too many but I can't find them without reading every single name (1800 of them).

I tried searching using the little gray button on lower left to sort and find but get nowhere with it. When the calendar pops up with 2016 do I  have to go backwards to 1876 to find a specific date?  Yikes!

What am I missing :(.  Gratefully awaiting your answer.

You can sort the Compare List by the compare/merge/reject column or other columns also, like a spreadsheet, as well as by birth date etc. This may help you find people.

It is tedious to search through lots of compare reuslts, which is why  it is recommended to use a small file with few people initially - walk before running.

Also if you potentially create more than ten duplicates, the import will be rejected (not approved).

I suggest you tick 'skip' for nearly all and see how the few remaining are imported.

Chris,  having just been through that learning curve!

Thanks Chris!  I finally did it line by line and found her in about the 800 range and you are right, I didn't realize it was this big. I'll try the other columns for sorting too.  Thanks again!  Barb
