Am trying to find vital records for Jeremiah,Timothy Brownell from Nova Scotia. The provincial databases help a little but the records are not there. Anybody have another suggestion?

Roland ... probably a lot of Jeremiah and Timothy Brownells ... so, if you could give us some dates or a pointer to their profiles (if they exist) it would help a bunch ... good luck in your search.

Jeremiah Brownell b1774 or 1779 NB Canada  d2Apr1870 NS Canada

wife Rebecca (Dixon) b1780 NB Canada  d1876 NS Canada

their son:Timothy Brownell b1806 NS Canada  d1896 NS Canada

wife Eliza (Johnson) b25Nov1816 NS Can  d9Feb1886 NS Can

their dau:Cynthia b7Feb1851 NS Can  d3Feb1890 NB Can

Thx for anything you could find,

Roland Goodwin

Left Nova Scotia out at searching as it didn t give a results at FamilySearch. Left in search Brownell at Canada.... Then added Jeremiah, Didn t try on Timothy.

I m European so haven t the faintest if this brings you anything. https://familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3AJeremiah~%20%2Bsurname%3ABrownell~%20%2Brecord_country%3A%22United%20States%22

But I do see a Jeremiah Brownell at Nova Scotia with possible even an image :)

Happy Weekend.

Astrid

Jeremiah Brownell's death record can be found at Nova scotia Historical Vital Statistics: https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com  Year: 1870 - Book: 1805 - Page: 51 - Number: 60  He died as you already knoe on April 2, 1870 at Shinimicas, Cumberland County at age 91. The fact that they lived at Shinimicas you might want to contact someone through the Cumberland County Museum and Archives: https://cumberlandcountymuseum.wordpress.com/

They might be able to assist you further. Perhaps finding the church they attended might identify further records.
