Who is the father of Hugh Floyd, b.1808 N Carolina d.1860 Pike, AL and married to Martha Ann Peacock Floyd at death

Hugh was born in Brunswick, N Carolina in 1808.  He married Elizabeth Rogers Tart in 1836 in Pike, AL and had four children, Henry 1837, William 1839, Robert 1843 (?) and Elizabeth 1843.  He married Martha Ann Peacock in 1851, Pea River, Pike Co. AL.  They had four children, Michael 1853, Cynthia 1855, Eli Franklin 1856 and Martha 1859.  Hugh died of fever in 1860.  The "FLOYD" line is complicated to trace back as many sons were named for relatives and accuracy is a problem for me.

I would appreciate any help tracing back from Hugh, my 3x great grandfather.

Hello Sherry, I m not sure this will help you. I set the search just on USA and spouse Elisabeth and Hugh Floyd. His firstname and lastname might be spelled different. Same for Elisabeth that can be spelled so many different ways. Play with the search things. Try to keep it broad. First just search on Hugh Floyd. Hug Floyd. Hugh Floid.......... Transcriptions are made by volunteers reading old records written by people writing phonetical. So be creative :D
