Trying to find a Mom

Question

I have ran this name in every database I can, only two records pop up. So I'm at a stand still in helping. So I'm reaching out for help. A dear man, David Selman, is looking for any information of his mother. He has very little information which I will relay here. I have found information on his father's side but his mother's side eludes me. So here we go with the Gregg/Selman block.

Name appears on David and his brother's birth records as Betty Gregg or as Elizabeth Roberta Gregg. She married Charles "Charlie" Marion Selman Jr and divorced sometime in the 1960's. She was supposedly married to a Sonny Mock afterwards. She was born circa 1920 in either Texas or Oklahoma. She died in 1986 in Dallas, Texas from what is known. Father's first name may be Luther. Story is that Betty was orphaned along with siblings when father killed mother then committed suicide. Possible siblings names: Wilma Shaddock (nee Gregg) and Mae Catherine Gregg (married name may be Shipp). Might have a brother. Not sure.

So it is looking like Betty went to stay with her aunt after her parents died. Was there any information on sisters possibly named Wilma or Mae? I see Barbara only so I'm thinking that is the only sibling.

I see there's a Find-a-Grave listing of Betty at  Find A Grave Memorial# 36122128  .  You might want to get the phone number for the cemetery and call them to see if there's any information about her parents that they have.
