PGM. While working on Chapman families, I came across Elizabeth (Fox-1021) Chapman, according to basic data on the profile, she was b. England 1641. Her mother was Margaret (Clarke-1435) Fox b. in England in 1611.
The following source was already on the profile.
Connecticut Vital Records to 1870 (Online Database: AmericanAncestors.org, New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2011.) From original typescripts, Lucius Barnes Barbour Collection, 1928. Volume: Windsor, Page(s): 102 Henry, bd. Sept. 12, 1640
I don't have access to AmericanAncestors.org, but I am supposing that it is from this source, and Ancestry Trees that a profile was created for Henry Fox, wife of Margaret and father of Elizabeth. Henry Fox-1022, according to this profile was b. in England in 1610 under the name "Foucks." and died September 1640 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.
But Starr in his book about Goodwin ancestral lines and Ferris in her book on Dawes-Gates say that Mr. Fox presumably died in England, and his wife Margaret & daughters may have come over with the Clarke family.
I have disputed facts delineated in profile Fox-1021 Elizabeth (Fox) Chapman, along with web address & page numbers.
Need help with disputed facts.
Need help on whether this family could be PGM.
