I wanted to share this family photo of Ralph Berg with the community. Location: California (Los Angeles/Compton and San Diego). Date: unknown.

He was a German immigrant at 4 years old, living with his birth mother and her first husband in New Haven, CT. He loved his adoptive father, naming me after him.

Thank you to all who saw this photo here on W-tree. My father, a very quiet man , would have been grateful that you took a minute to check it out and perhaps couple it with one of your known relatives. The photo of him young is one of my favorites. He and my mother made quite  a pair.

He wanted to be in theater, and was moderately talented, and untrained, so he didn't succeed. It's a normal "Hollywood" story. My mother was also against it. Sigh. We will talk..

As there is no specifically stated question, I will assume that you are wondering about the time frame for the larger photo. I think that it was taken in the late 1930's to early 1940's, as you stated in the details of the photo

outside of Wikitree, there is Facebook, etc. Within Wikitree, other than posting on that specific persons tree, I am not sure. There are people who are more conversant with Wikitree than me. Maybe if you don't get another answer within say a week, try posting in Wikitree Tech section or look in contacts for someone more knowledgeable with the workings of Wikitree. Sorry I can't help any further on this question.
