Picture disappearing from a profile?

On the profile of William Eaton-369 of Dover, co. Kent, I had included a picture of his coat of arms.  This picture was also used on his son Nicholas Eaton-560.  It has been there for the last month and a half but has now disappeared.  I am trying to figure out why.

I thought it might be because, after using it in the biography, I dissociated the picture from him.  I did this so that it would not appear in the right-hand column which is a look I do not like, as well as being useless clutter.  However, I used the same technique on the page of Nicholas Baynton-42, and that picture is still there.

Thoughts and tips appreciated.  I want to be able to use images in the biography, without them being duplicated in the right-hand column.

There are no images associated with any of those 3 profiles.

I know, that is the point.  I unlinked the photo after using it in the biography.  The image remained in the biography for the past month and a half before disappearing in the past few days.    If you look at Nicholas Baynton-42 the image still appears in the coat-of-arms section; in the coat-of-arms section of William Eaton-369 with the exact same coding the image has disappeared.

You must be looking at a cached copy on your browser as there are NO images displayed on those pages now.
The coat of arms does not appear because the image is privacy protected, which means only you can see it.
Hello Joe because you removed the image from the profile it will no longer show up on that profile. The best idea if you just want the images in the Bio and not on the right hand side of the profile, is to have a open free space  photo page and add the images you want to add to Bio's on that page. The page needs to be open because if has a high privacy no one will be able to see the images but you, I hope this helps Terry
Thank you Terry, That is what I thought, but I was surprised that it didn't happen to every profile I tried that on.  I assume there must be a delay for WikiTree to erase unused/un-associated images which is why it remained for so long before finally being erased.

I think the reason the Baynton image remained is because it is apparently being used on a freespace page.
Yes that would be why would of been still there Joe.Sometimes it takes a little while for the images to be removed from Wikitree Terry

OK, I created a freespace page just to keep my coat-of-arm images.

I just want to make sure... do you see images in the coat-of-arms sections of the biographies for William Eaton-369   Nicholas Eaton-560   Nicholas Baynton-42   Willelma de la Mare  and Joan Roches ?

Yes Joe I see the images in all the above profiles, they look great in the bio's :) Terry
And yes, I did read a thread here on G2G not long ago which mentioned that when an image is removed from it's last profile it will be removed after 30 days.  So I presume that's what happened in your case.
