G2G: Getting rid of Anonymous

Question

I put a nickname in preferred name, then saw the other nickname field so I deleted it from the preferred and put the name as the nickname. Now the preferred name is Anonymous. I had also checked the Certain button and there is no way to remove it.

How do I get rid of that mouse called Anony, and how can I remove the checkmark from Certain? I don't want her to be Uncertainly Anonymous either.

Hello Jim,

The Preferred Name is actually a required field, so you will have to fill it in.

But you can choose to fill out the proper name or the nickname instead. Than you can leave the checkmark to 'certain'.

As Martyn said, Preferred First Name is a required field. If it's the same as the Proper First Name, just leave it the same.
