Looking for relatives of Rachel James 1809 - 1832 wife of Silas Innard Boggs- Braxton, WV

She was the 1st wife of Silas Innard Boggs 1806 -1880, from Braxton County, West Virginia, United States of America.  Married  January 23, 1829 in Braxton, West Virginia, US.   She was the mother of 2 children  Benjamin Boggs  and  Mary Jane Boggs.

She is the last ancestor in my   Haplogroup U5b2b2

Did you ever find any leads for Rachel James? Silas' second wife, Charlotte Pierson was my ancestor. We have some common ancestors, for sure. The Boggs side has ancestors that served in the Revolutionary War

No nothing more than her marriage record to Silas.  It shows that the bond was co-signed by Andrew Frame. According to one archivist at the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, it was normal for a family member of the Bride to co-sign the Bond. So could Rachel actually be a Frame and not James 

The typed copy of the record was photographed for me by a wonderful member here.   She hopes one day to get to unfolding the actual record at the Archives.  That would be so wonderful to see the record and see exactly what the written name looks like.

I'm a James by birth and have just started messing about with MytoYDNA- and here I am. In Australia but definitely related. I know the family arrived here via a whistle stop in NZ and who knows where between NZ and leaving Wales.
