Was this the Celia Murphree who captured three union soldiers and turned them over to General Nathan Bedford Forrest?

I got some information from a book titled Alabama Curiosities  that basically said this:

 

A Celia and Winnie Mae Murphree were teenagers at that time. General Abel Streight was leading federal forces in North Alabama towards Rome Ga to disrupt the train supplies of the south. General Nathan Bedford Forrest led rebel forces to stop them. At Royal (I think this is in Blount county), the two sisters took three marauding union soldiers prisoner and marched them to Forrests' camp and turned them over.

Were they kin to Daniel f. "Bishop" Murphree.

Hi Buster, This question has been sitting unanswered for sometime now.  Have you been to the Murphree Family Genealogy Forum.  This is a non pay site that is surname specific.  You are more likely to find a cousin who knows.  There is a forum for most surnames, Counties, States and many Towns
