Hi, Karen --

A couple of things that will help you find the information you're looking for:

* Give all the dates and locations that you have -- one caveat: Don't discuss living people in G2G because it's a public form, and any information you put here will be visible to all of cyberspace. :-)

* Join Wikitree and start adding your family and research. A good place to start looking for ancestor information is They have a lot of census records as well as birth, marriage and death records, that can help you to tie family members together. Once you get some good clues from familysearch, it will be easier to go out and find additional information at other websites, libraries, courthouse record repositories, etc.

Take a look at this page for some ideas on how to get started with both Wikitree and your genealogy research.

Good luck!!

p.s. One of our members is also doing a DNA/One-Name Study for Smith. You can find a little more info about that here.
