Help with Hite merges

+5 votes

All four profiles do represent the same 'Elizabeth Hite'. And all four profiles were initially created by an imported GED.
So each profile has its own unique link structure from unmerged GED 'parents'.
In Elizabeth Froman (Hite-17) there are 34 profile links between the three families directly involved,
i.e., Elizabeth Hite's Family, Her father's Family (Jost Hite) and mother's Family (Anna Maria).
MatchBot has corrrectly identified the four profiles as the same, but of course, cannot see the complexity involved.
However, I can... Since the 'parents' are the problem, I will gladly merge these three profiles into Hite-17,
but only on the condition that the parents be removed from each of the three profiles prior to their merge.
The three families now identified with Hite-17 have been carefully researched and the children's information validated.
All children who did not "die young" are included, and new links may be created if they married and had children.
Please note, Hite-17 is one of 10 children of Jost and Anna Maria Hite. Perhaps MatchBot should go to the parent root and
propose three merges for each of the other 9 children! ...I would be glad to accept any of these merges as long as parents are not involved.

The duplications go back to the couple of (heydt-18, heydt-8 and unknown-185493, magdalena-18). I proposed a merge of those to get you started. If you look at a list of all Hites and sort them by date of birth the duplications will show up easily. All you can do is start the merge process. I noticed at least a couple of the managers of early Hites haven't been active for quite a while, cole-2184 and bowman-2134, so you may need to have them deemed 'unresponsive' and adopt those profiles. It's a tedious process, but it's what makes Wikitree work. Good luck!
