Then you'll want to get this really cool chocolate-colored badge!

If you like to add sources to profiles (and who doesn't love to do that?), please consider joining us!  After you read about the Sourcerers Challenge, you can join your fellow WikiTree'ers who are recording their successes during the May Sourcerers' Challenge

How can you resist?

Thank you Star, you make a great Wikitree Cheerleader.

I certainly don't look anything like this cheerleader, but I love the WikiTree pom-poms!
Ha! I love the cheerleader, and Star is a most excellent one, as well. Thank you both!
I like it! The Wikitree cheerleader. Also like chocolate.
That's awesome, Anne!! rofl
Well done, Star!! I've been Sourcering; I just haven't had time to document it all in G2G. Still -- the work is getting done, so yay!!

Thanks for the positive comments, everyone.  I'm hoping we can break multiple records in this month's Challenge.  My Sourcerers Team goals are to see:

  • The largest number of participants in one month
  • The most new participants in one month
  • The highest number of improved profiles per participant in one month
  • The most "personal bests" - participants who broke their own previous records
  • The highest (documented) number of profiles improved in one month

Go Sourcerers Team!!

I have been adding sources to Unsourced or limited source profiles for a long time now.  May I have this badge please?

Hi Karen, To get the Sourcerer's badge, you'll need to join the Sourcerers Challenge. Septembers is here. Read the directions on how to join the challenge. I haven't missed a month since it started

I participated in the August Sourcerers challenge and am the 1st entry on page 3 with 30 profiles sourced.  I am signed up for the Sept challenge as well.
Go to the August Sourcerers Challenge page. Make a comment after your answer or after the original post and just ask if maybe someone forgot to give you the badge.
Thanks.   I'll do that.

Welcome to WikiTree, Elaine!  Thank you so much for offering to help with the Challenge.  It looks like you've been busy adding new profiles this month.  You might want to focus on those profiles, first, since you have not yet added resources to them.  They will not count to ward the challenge, but they will certainly count toward improving WikiTree.  You might want to read the Sources Style Guide to see how we source profiles on this site.  If you are just beginning to source, some of us use FamilySearch as an easy way to cite sources.  That site lists the citation along with the information, so you can just cut and paste the citation into WikiTree.  (I like to make things easy!)
