Looking for information about Alexander Tikhon Fielen from Chortitza colony died 1933 in a dam construction accident

Not sure about the exact spelling of the last name. He was my grandfather and Ukrainian

Do you have birth date,did he ever live in Usa,was he born in Ukraine??

No he never lived in the US, and yes he was born in Ukraine, in or around the Chortitza Colony. He was 20 when he married my grandmother in 1931.

There is a 1920 Chortitza Colony census online,but i need too know

what Village he lived in.It says at this time,it was part of South Russia.

At different periods in time ,Part of Russia,Germany,and maybe others.

After wars ,countries would annex Ukraine,You could look also just

put in on Google.

He lived in Osterwick, Chortitza Colony. the only place I have found his name is in this marriage registry:

My grandmother's name as spelled on this report is Margarethe Klassen.

The only one found in any village listed.

Alexander Jakob Friesen born April 2 1901,

Rosenthal,Nieder,Nortitza.

There also listed with him Anna Gerhard Friesen,born Jan 3 1880.

not sure who she is.

Checked all villagers in Chortitza,only found one Alexander Friezen,

and his middle name Jakob.He was born April 2 1901.In Russia ,Chortitza

was known as Pavlovka.I have never researced in Ukraine.There are very

few records online that we can use.,
