Downloading to Wikitree from Familysearch?

Finding family links for Wikitree in Familysearch has produced the best search results for me, by far. However, i am unable to view the newly uncovered and saved (in Familysearch source box), in the "sources" in my Wikitree. Help me solve this issue. Tony

I am unclear on your question. Anything done on FamilySearch does not flow to Wikitree automatically (from my understanding). Copying and pasting the Citation/Source information from FamilySearch into your sources in Wikitree should work as simple copy and paste.

There is no way to transfer your family tree and sources from familysearch.org to WikiTree without creating the profile on WikiTree and then linking them with the Familysearch Match tool. even then you would still have to copy and paste your sources to the profiles here I think.

Tony and Dale,

FYI, we are working on a tool that will make it easy to create a WikiTree profile based on a FamilySearch profile. The fields on our create-a-person form, and hopefully sources and other info, will be auto-filled.

Well, that's pretty exciting! :-D
OOOhhhh!  That sounds like one to move up the Priority-To-Do List.  Great plan, Chris!
That should help a lot of people.
I have 100's of people in the tree I created on ancestry.com, it would take months to transfer all the information over here...  I'm hoping there will be a tool that will transfer it "automatically"... soon?

thank you.

Chris
