Thank you so much Sarah, now I understand fully. I am amazed that someone like that could be allowed to publish what is purely fiction and have people believe it was true, even hand out fake pedigree's, I would think that the native Americans would be greatly distressed to say the least. I am not particularly knowledgeable when it comes to the way the internet works, and didnt think for a minute that this could happen.. how naive of me, Im old school and no little to nothing about American Indian peoples, although I would like to, as natives from any country interest me. I come from New Zealand, and our native people are Maori, they what is called a 'Moko' which is a tattoo, that applied to the face and body. Some men would wear a full face Moko, the women seemed to just have the chin area tattooed. The patterns of the moko on each area of the face told of different things like the history of the family or their place in the tribe, where I am going with this is, that only the Maori are allowed to wear a Moko, and it is considered an insult for others to wear it unless they have permission or can prove their heritage, so I would think that the native American would feel the same way about this Don Greene, making up stories about them and giving out pedigree's like the easter bunny handing out chocolate eggs, I would be very upset if it were me. I understand how easy it is for one person to make a mistake and ruin a whole line, if the information is not documented and proved correct. thanks again for your explaination.
