This is the same year as Samuel's death date, but it does show a Samuel Morey marrying a Mary Coats in England:

We'll keep looking....

This Ancestry tree suggests the name "Polly" instead of Mary:

The FindaGrave site for William shares some insights and mentions that he was named for his maternal grandfather, names two brothers, and said his wife was unnamed:

Buried in the same cemetery is Celia Pauline "Siley" (Waite) Morey.  It says she was the wife of William:

Coincidentally, they are buried in Franklin County Vermont where I live.  If you need boots on the ground or cemetery pics let me know :)

This Geni tree suggests Samuel's parents, but not his wife:

This RootsWeb discussion suggests William's wife's name as unnamed:

"Samuel born 15 Aug 1750 Voluntown, New London, CT, USA, was doubtlessly the Samuel Morey who, with his brother Joseph Morey was fined 5/0/0 in 1726 for stealing. He may well have been the Samuel Morey admitted from Northford on 26 Jun 1774 to the Congregational Society of Northbury at Plymouth CT, USA. The unnamed "wife of Samuel Morey" was admitted 29 Oct 1775."   LINK

Thanks for your data in finding of this question. The Find A grave page for his son William tells of Mary

""s/o Samuel Morey b. 15 Aug 1750 Voluntown, New London, CT, USA
s/o Mary Morey""

And Polly is another nickname for Mary as well.

"Connecticut Births and Christenings, 1649-1906," database, FamilySearch ( : accessed 22 March 2016), Samuel Mory, 15 Aug 1750; citing ; FHL microfilm unknown.

He is most likely buried somewhere in Connecticut just can't find it.
Found a note that Waite Kerley Cemetery, Fairfield, Franklin County, Vermont, United States of America might be where Samuel or even Mary / Polly might be buried. Might be an adventure waiting to happen.
