ATTENTION: DNA-related summer job for coder

Attention CODERS,

This is completely NON-Wikitree, but IS DNA related (and a source for a few $$$).

I can see a *possible* future of this info being fun for Wikitreers; but as of right now, they aren't at that junction.  The "coding" will be for https://opensnp.org/  (If you have already done your DNA testing, this site is interesting).

Curious what it has to do with DNA. I didn't see anything about that in the announcement.

Thank you for sharing!  I have two STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) focused kids.  Much like the global "Hour of Code" this is a fantastic opportunity for those who are interested to expand their knowledge.

It was said in a parent orientation night that the students are learning today to solve problems we don't even know exist yet.

As we see on a daily basis trying to triangulate and figure out the DNA "riddle" ourselves, one day there may well be algorithmic code written that can translate the DNA code that stumps us daily.
