I have an ancestral line on the de Havillands of Guernsey Island (between France & Britain) that goes back into the 1400s. The life of the line's patriarch, Sir Thomas de Havilland (c1415-1480), is well-documented in many historical books. There is also a http://havilands.org website which purportedly is meant to be the central source point for all people of the de Havillands line.
Many of the de Havillands in my line, including Sir Thomas, have been added to wikitree.com, although most have poor source documentation and deviate from wikitree / EuroAristocrats formatting standards (eg, 'De Havilland', 'DeHavilland', 'Havilland' are all mixed throughout the profiles). Surprisingly (to me, anyway), this line is not represented in the EuroAristocrats super-project?
I would like to see this line enacted as a subproject of the EuroAristocrats super-project, and I am happy to take a lead in this (and work with anyone else who might be similarly interested). But I am not sure how to initiate this effort?
Thanks!
