Can a headcount be added to profile edit page? [closed]

I am mainly interested in headcounts for siblings and children.

If the subject of a profile has several siblings or children (or both), a headcount would make it easier to ensure that all have been added to the tree.

(This question may appear twice, as I seem to have had a technical glitch when I hit the submit button.)

A possibility that merges could contain the right count, but have duplicates might make that unreliable.
Actually, that's an example of why it would be useful. If one profile in a merge had duplicates, they would add to the count. You could tell at a glance that something was off.

Of course, a correct count could still be off because of duplication! Still, I would find a headcount to be a useful quick-glance tool.

I don't think the headcount should appear on the main page of the profile, just on the edit page where the family members are listed (on the right side of the "Edit" page under "Edit Family").

Hi Lindy,

Great idea and it should be easy to add! Putting it on the to-do list.

This is now done, simply by putting the siblings, spouses, and children in numbered lists.

Thanks again for suggesting it, Lindy! I love it when a suggestion is easy to implement.
I didn't think it was possible - you improved on MY suggestion (kidding, as usual!).

Thanks for adding the numbers and the color coding - looks great, Chris!!

The other improvements promise to be useful, too.
