born 1/17/1854 in Germany, he died in 1936 in LaSalle County Illinois and was married to Emma K Klein. Daughter of Andrew and Elisabetha (Sauer).

I have been looking for an hour for him,have found nothing.

Thank you for your reply.  I am new to researching my ancestors, so am probably making mistakes.  His name upon birth in Frohnhausen, Dillkries, Hesse was Cuntz.  He is my great grandfather and according to a census immigrated to USA in 1880, settling in Earlville, LaSalle county, Illinois.  Will continue my quest
