According to Great Migration: Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, Volume II, C-F, the name of Nicholas Danforth's wife and the mother of his children is Elizabeth Barber, not Elizabeth Symmes.

Hi Chris. Working on this line in my tree is so frustrating due to the number of names one person can have based on sourced info: Is Elizabeth's last name Symme OR Barber OR Batty OR...?? Golly! Glad you've decided to leave things as they are, at least for now, and until there is documentation that comes to light which settles, for good and all, her last name AND family line. I would personally like the matter resolved as she is an ancestor connected to my Brewster-Parish-Morgan-Mullender-Brooks line. Good hunting!

I have been working on his daughter Lydia Danforth Beamen and realized this is still hanging in the air.    His wife Elizabeth is at: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Symmes-125
