It's called LIVES OF THE POPES: Illustrated Biographies of Every Pope From St. Peter to the Present, (1998) by Consultant Editor: Michael J. Walsh is a distinguished Roman Catholic historian and writer. His numerous books include, Vatican City State, Roots in Christianity and Pope John Paul II: A Biography. In addition he has edited several journals and contributed to both the Catholic and the mainstream pess. A former Jesuit, he is currently (1998) Librarian at Heythrop College, University of London.
