I have just had a quick look on the Familysearch site, and there are 3 Bridget Devaney's listed on the New York, New York Passenger and Crew Lists which may be of interest to you.

Hi Marie,

Is there a profile for her in WikiTee?  Can you give us some more info?  Any other dates or associated names?  Places?

Thank you!

Cheers Anne I have look there.

Cynthia ya I do. Devaney - 118.

You can see the passeenger list at the Ellis Island Foundation.   It says she is going to her aunt, Mrs Hunt  at 2232 S.  Oakdale St in Philadelphia

You have to sign up for http://www.libertyellisfoundation.org/ but it is free.

Hi Marie, you could try New York Passenger lists for the date you have given as a start, that might give you an idea as to where she was from, then research census, Births etc in the country of origin.
