Hi. To start with our tree goes back as far as 1415 In regards to the Turney,s. I  am looking for help to go further back if possible. The last person in the tree is as follows.

One/

John Turney

Born  c 1415 and died 1503

His wife Agnes Turney

Born  c1423 and died 1533

Two/

 Benjamin Turney

Born 10November 1605 at Linsdale, Buckinghamshire, England

His wife Mary Odell born 1605 at Salford, Bedfordshire, England.

At some time in the 1600 they took ship to America for a new life. And lived in Fairfield Connecticut. This branch I would also like to learn more about. However my subscription will not allow me access to this area.so any help on either subject would be greatfully recieved.

   Regards. Andrew

Andrew are you saying that couple number one are parents of couple number two ? That can't be. Or is it that you're trying to bridge Benjamin to John?

What subscription are you referring to ? Someone here may have one.
Hi Jillaine

The answer is one and two are separated by many generations. My request meant to be asking for help on two different questions.  One being for help with going back further with John Turney and the other request for help with the tracking the lives and the families of Benjamin and Mary in Americaf
I am with ancestry . co. U.K.  And my subscription does not allow the American ancestry
Regards.   Andrew
Andrew, Benjamin has a fairly well-sourced profile here on wikitree:

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Turney-10

some sources could be improved.
Thank you very much Jillaine for the information, that was a beat concise response.  Once again thank you.

If I can be of any help to now or in the future just ask.

Andrew
It's an interesting lineage. The links backward in time are circumstantial but strong. The link between James and the John you list above is questionable per the published research in The American Genealogist (1936) unless there has been more recent research confirming the link.  Researchers / descendants of this line should definitely get their hands on volumes 13 and 14 of TAG.

Looks like there is a 1993 work available thru Familysearch.org but I can't get it to load on my iPad.
