Confused about privacy, relatives etc.

I am confused. My profile went from public to private about a week ago, I did not change it. My mother was already listed in WikiTree as well as her siblings (I did not post them). What is strange is my mother is listed as Private with bio & family tree, none of her siblings are, they are all public. I was able to add myself as her child but cannot connect my father to her as husband, nor add any other info on her such as vitals. I did contact the person (Profile Manager) about 10 days ago but no response yet. I do not know what is going on, I would really like to move on.

Hi James. You mother, her siblings and ancestors were created back in 2014. When you connected yourself to your mother her privacy level was automatically changed from Open as she was then attached to a living person. This can be changed back to Open as long as there is a death date. Similarly your own privacy level has changed with connecting your profile to your parents. As a living person your profile should not be Open. WikiTree generally takes a cautious approach to dealing with Privacy levels.

The profile manager has not been active for over a year. In this case, as you have tried to contact her, you should now submit and Unresponsive Profile Manager (UPM) request. On your mothers profile page, click onto the Tree and Tools tab and scroll down until your see the link to the UPM form. The procedures are outlined here: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unresponsive_Profile_Managers

Thank you, while I contacted the did Profile Manager 10 days ago it was to infor her that I was a relative and wanted to make connections, however I dod not ask to be put on the trust list only discovered that and put in a request for that 3 days ago  so must wait several more days before I can do the Unresponsive thing. Again thank you for your clear answer.
