My father's name was Franklin Foos - his Mom was Jeannette Nicastro - whos mother's maiden name was Mancuso..... hope some of this might help - us both....

I have a Mary Mancuso in my family tree, she's a brick wall. She was from the Pallavicino area of Palermo in Sicily.

I don't have any Mancuso relatives, but I did know a Mancuso when I did some work in New Jersey.  OTOH a first cousin of mine married a Mannarino, so if you ever start a one name Mannarino study let me know.

Thanks! Lots of Sicilian families ended up in New Jersey and I am sure members of the Mancuso family did too.

You can start a Name Study Project for any name you want. Just go to the Add button on the menu and add a new project. Make sure you add  [[Category: One Name Study]] to the project and set some goals, a member list and a to do list. And don't forget to add the Category for your name study to each profile.

If you have any questions, there is a help page and the leaders are named Alison and Doug.
