Services for Ollie Ruth White, 70, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with Jackie Farmer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock. She died Wednesday, March 5, 2003. She was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Lubbock. She attended schools in Lubbock. She worked in food services for nursing homes, including Lakeside and Bender Terrace, retiring in 1985. A lifetime resident of Lubbock, she was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Terry Lynn White of Fort Worth, Thomas Willard White, James Leonard White III, Robert Wayne Cobb and Michael Ray Jordan, all of Lubbock; a sister, Freda Powell of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
