Does it make sense that Scratch Pad keeps changing what I enter ?

Question

I would like to use the scratch pad to hold info that I can cut and paste BUT when I enter equal signs == Sources == the equal signs are changed to quote marks. And when I enter [ == Sources == ] it changes the double equal signs to single equals. A scratch pad that doesn't handle scratches.

John, the wiki-tree scratch pad does not work like g-2-g. We cannot paste some character strings from the wiki-tree scratch pad since the scratch pad will not store strings such as == Sources ==. The software controlling the wiki-tree scratch pad changes == Sources == into "" Sources "". Hopefully this deficiency can be corrected. Regards, Sheila
