It has been proved that the Lemba of South Africa have genetic links to ancient Etheopia, Nyasaland, Egypt and the Israelites.

The dna tests on the Koi San  are also published.

There are mitochondrial DNA studies available on most African populations now.

Hi Shelley

Sound very interesting but it should be noted that they are not just from South Africa but from "Southern African" ethnicity found in Zimbabwe and South Africa, with smaller, little-known branches in Mozambique and Malawi as per Wikipedia

http://haruth.com/jw/JewsLemba.html also gives more info. Really makes for some fascinating reading. Unfortunately not all the links on the website is not working

Good luck with the project.
