Where was John McLaughlin (McLoughlin) born?

Question

John was born abt 1797 , lived in Newtown Limavady married twice Susannah Anderson then Nancy Carsons.  Many of his children came to Australia but at least one remained.  Died 26 Jun 1880 in Catherine Street., Limavady.  I have not been able to find either of the marriages.

I'm assuming you mean Limavady, Derry,  Ireland. Try the Ireland Reaching Out website, http://www.irelandxo.com/  they have volunteers who will search for you if you can give them a few clues on where to search.You will have to join up but its free as is the search.The best place to start is the Blog for your county and ask your question.
