19:55: Victor Lee edited the data for William Bennett. (Merged Bennett-12521 into Bennett-1626: Clear duplicate.) [Thank Victor for this]

I was going to thank Victor Lee for this, so I thought I would have a look and see, it seems that Bennett 12521 ( My Maternal Granddfather, Born in 1898) has been merged with another Bennett who was born sometime between 1740 - 1801 in North Carolina, a completely different person.and when I click on my Grandads profile, all my info has gone, and has been replaced by Bennett from Carolina?????.. or am I reading the merge wrong, forgive me if I am. Thanks Anne

The profiles merged were 12521 and 1626 and your maternal grandfather's profile number is: 12666.  These are two different profiles - so nothing has happened to your maternal grandfather's profile.

Is this your Grandfather? http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bennett-12666
He is still showing as your maternal grandfather, no changes.
