I need help please

Hello family,

I've been working on this profile and I've built her family tree all the way to the year 1487 (Ann Thornbourgh, the 11th great grandmother of the husband's first cousin).  I am so excited about my research on this.  However, I am not pre 1500 certified and I will need guidance on this.  Do I send the GEDCOM to one of you team members so you can verify all of my research before it can be added to this tree?  I am eagerly awaiting guidance...

Hi, Debby --

Have you checked to see whether or not your pre-1500 ancestors are already in Wikitree?

Take a look at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/GEDCOM, even with a Pre-1500 badge, profiles with birthdates prior to 1500 are skipped.

You should work on the profiles you have that are 1500-1700 births, find sources for those profiles.   See

http://www.wikitree.com/quiz/pre_1700  Please review questions 2-6

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Uncertain#What_are_examples_of_sources_that_provide_uncertain_information.3F

And once you feel that you demonstrate the knowledge of sources for Pre-1700 profiles, you can apply for the Pre-1500 certification.
