Shared Photo: -family mystery - Andrew and Emma (Edwards) Carter

Question

This is the only known photo of my 3x ggf Andrew "Hamp" Carter. He was married to Nancy Emma Edwards, daughter of John Edwards and Emma Cope. He is a complete mystery to us.  We know nothing of his origin or ending. The only thing I have that identifies him is a death certificate of one of his daughters that identifies him as Andrew, and another daughter whose certificate identifies him as Hamp.  The family Bible identifies him as Hamp, and gives absolutely NO details. I've searched tirelessly for this man and I come up emtpy handed every time.  The only thing I can find are city directories where Emma is listed as widow of Andrew, and the children death certificates. I know this seems like a longshot, but I'm posting here just in case anyone knows anything, or is looking for him too.  Thanks!

Well, that Andrew is a lead I got, and I ended up connecting them on Find a grave after investigating. I don't believe it is him anymore but I don't want to remove him as a possibility.
