Exactly what constitutes a post on G2G?

Question

I have a bit of confusion as to what would be considered a post. Is it an answer, comment or what?

All three are consider posts....and if some ones says ''op'' they mean the original or post number one on a topic.

A question about a profile in your tree ie Can anyone help me find John Smith born 1820 Born Kent ,London, who died in 1878. He was married to Mary Smith nee Evans Born 1825.

or......A problem ,,,,,,,,,,,,,like Can anyone help I don't know how to put a source in the correct way could somebody put an example up for me please.   

   or....................................a statement ......................I just love all the help I receive on Wiki I just love this site.

 Ive been with wiki for a while now and im learning every day, the hard part for all of us I think is remembering it all. Hope this helps

Ah Thanks for the compliment. Honestly you can ask what you like on wiki. Also good Advice is to keep looking at G2G and tree house etc. Ive learnt so much from reading the posts on here. Even though I certainly don't feel like a genealogist. I think I bluff my way through hahaha

Comments don't appear in your Contributions feed.  This is annoying because it would often be the easiest way to find a thread.

Also, they don't bump the Recent Q&A feed, so many people will miss them.
