My great grandfather Lawrence Donahue, sister Ann and wife Margaret Powers sailed to New York aboard the SS Henry Clay in 1850.  I'm looking for records of the town of origin, birth, marriage, and records for them. i'm also looking for the same regarding Lawrence's parents believed to be John Donahue and Ellen Kane.

My Great Great Great grandfather was John Donahue, born 1800. He must of visited the UK because he had a daughter Mary Ann who married William La Foch. They had a daughter Margarette, who gave birth to Lilly to later married an Arthur Millington.

I do not know the exact dates of birth of the others, but  Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire in the UK was the first time my great gran settled into a house, her ancestors being itinerate. I might have limited but further information.
