Kanye West multiple merge obstacles

He's notable certainly. Everybody's heard of him pretty much. So, in reviewing merges I initiated, I find that the request from last year to merge West-6662 in to West-18 hasn't been acted on. And it won't be easy for that to proceed.

1.  The manager of West-18 has made a grand total of 3 contributions, and that was back in 2009. (Apparently, he also adopted profiles, no telling how many since those don't show on the activity feed.) And really, Kanye West, a known publicity hound, hardly needs a red privacy setting. I've started the "unresponsive manager" request for this one.
2. West-6662 has been marked as Project Protected, presumably by Notables. That means there's an obstacle to it being merged into West-18 even with necessary approvals. (That PM, although active, hasn't responded to the merge request either. There needs to be more time to see about private message sent more recently.)

I've sent various notes out, but this one will require appropriate permission levels to straighten out, with changes to both profiles. This may be resolved administratively through the various notes I've already sent, but I thought I'd toss this G2G notice out, too.

I approved the merge (must have missed that email) but now it's waiting on the other person to ok it. When that's done I could go through and fix the "privacy" if it doesn't take the newer one but have to wait until the other manager responds.

Great! Thanks, Charlotte. We've still got the problem of the PPP on the higher numbered profile. The other manager's been inactive for so long, I expect he'll be removed once the "unresponsive manager" process plays out.
