Your Tags are the green boxes on the right side of your profile. You have two, Phillips and Armbruster.
You get a daily Wiki Genealogy Feed. This feed shows recent edits and additions to profiles on WikiTree with the surnames (Tags) you are following. You get another Family Activity Feed (once a week) that shows changes to the profiles on your watchlist. You can access these feeds from the drop down menus in the top right corner. There is an opt-out option for these feeds on the page.
I think what you are trying to ask, is how to eliminate all the activity (in your daily Genealogy Feed) you receive on Phillips and Armbruster that really has nothing to do with anyone you care about.
You can remove the (surname) Tags from your profile, or you can opt out of receiving the feed. However both these solutions will eliminate the name you are looking for also. If the person has a profile on Wikitree already, you can ask to be put on the trusted list and ask to be added as a manager. Then you will get notified in the weekly Family Activity Feed (don't opt out of this one) on any changes etc. that happen to the profile. If on the other hand there is no profile, create one, and you will be the manager and know if something changes through emails and you Family Activity Feed.
Hope this helps and I interpreted your question correctly.
I could mention that I have West as one of my followed surname tags. Lots of West activity that I don't care about. I give a quick look every day, ignore the ones I don't care about, look at the changes for the ones I do care about, and then delete the email.
