My maternal great-great-grandmother was Nancy Catherine Smith Reeves, wife of Christopher Columbus/Columbia Reeves. The couple moved with their children from Centralia, Illinois to Texas sometime after 1870 due to her ill-health. Nancy suffered from tuberculosis. I believe she died in Texas, possibly in Manor, Travis County.  After Nancy's death, Christopher and his children returned to Centralia, where he later married Annie Qualls. They returned to Texas and lived in Manor, but had no more children. My great-grandmother , Nancy's daughter,  Cora Ann Reeves (later Thomas), though very young, did not move with the family as she and her stepmother did not get along, but remained in a Centralia rooming house for railroad workers.

Nancy Smith Reeves was a married woman with a child.
These links are all to the same person, Nannie Smith, who died in infancy.
