John Barrow b. 1828 England immigrated to Minnesota by 1865

Question

John Barrow shows up in the 1865 Minnesota Census - Red Wing, Goodhue, Minnesota, still there in 1880 US census.  States parents both from Meriden England, his wife is Martha born in Illinois her father from Canada, her mother from Kentucky.  They had two children William born 1864 and Jennie born 1867. These are about dates.

Looked at 1880 Census,did not see parents born Meriden England.??

I am not completely sure on the Meriden England part.  I did a program called rootsmapper with my familysearch account and that is where it put a pin as to where he is from.  I know the census doesn't say Meriden just England. Trying to gather more sources to narrow down what part of England.  I am sure about wife and children.

April29 1861 till Feb 14 1863,released Corporal.

Checked his birth in England 1827-1829 there are about 30 ,non

born in Meridan which is in Hertfordshire,There are many immigration

records from England.Named John Barrow.
