I am looking for family member of Joseph Coveney, born in County Cork (1805), died in Buchanan, MI.(1897)

Wife, Mary Louisa Roe, distant relative of David Roe (1642-1707).  Father of Catherine Coveney.

Joseph Coveny marries Mary Louisa Roe, Oct 29 1837.

1870 Census lists 8 children,No Catherine or Melissa Jane.Perhaps they

are married by now.Catherine perhaps her married name Catherine

Conekly.

Hi there,l am hoping this may be of help.My ancestor, William Coveney left Cork 19/3/1834 on the brig”Matilda” and arrived St. John, New Brunswick on May1834 aged 28.The following Coveney’s are recorded in the St.Johns Almshouse between 1861-1878.Bridget,6/1/1862 aged 9,Michael 1/1/1862,aged54 and then destitute1863 aged 54. Census 1851: Cornelius,aged 36, and Joanna Coveney,aged 40: l am looking for a Coveney who left there to come to South Australia. We may be able to help each other.Regards, RobinRobinson.
