What are some best practices to follow in documenting a genetic relationship?

+9 votes
I was recently able to confirm a relationship to one of my 2GG using genetic research. I did this with a lot of help from my newly discovered second cousins. So far, we agree on what our connection is. I will continue to revisit the evidence as more of my (presumed, closer) relatives get their test results. My question, though, is how does one document this effectively on Wikitree? How much needs to be said about how we know what we know, and how are the best Wikitreers saying similar things about their families?
