G2G: Just registered myself (Gordon 6484) previously identified as my mother (Brebner -7) Me shown there as Gordon 2248

Did initial/lots of family research about 4 years ago and logged that on system then but was registered (by mistake & because I didn't know better then) as Elizabeth Gordon - Brebner-7 - i.e. my mum ! was advised since to re-register as myself and this is what I have just done - known as Gordon 6484 but am already shown on the "fuller" family tree that already exists as Gordon 2248.

I want to merge into that tree tho' retaining my own ID for future research & reference etc etc but don't want to lose any detail or confuse (me and others!) by appearing twice

What is the next step to removing this overlap?

Thanks in anticipation,
Alistair Gordon

I just proposed a merge of the two so, once approved you will be Gordon 2248 again.
