My 10th or 11th great grandfather is a man named John Higgins who originated from Ireland ( i believe his real name was O'Haggen or something like that) He fought for the British during the American war. My Dad told me he believes that he did live in America, but I'm not sure. Around the late 1700's, he came up to Nova Scotia, Canada and founded a little town called Higginsville. He had 8 children with his first wife and I believe another 6-8 with his second after the first died. This is all I know.
