G2G: Biography is automatically edited?

the biography is automatically edited when I add a person, i.e. "so and so was born in..." how do I make this stop?

Add a short biography of your choice in the bio box before you save the person, then the computer doesn't generate so and so etc. While you're at it add a source in the source box.

You can't stop it. It's part of the boilerplate added during the create a person process. You can, however, edit the profile and remove it.

Frankly I like the little stub bios.  They give handy reminders and something to start with.  And they only take a second to overwrite if you have another style of bio you like.

I like it, though it is annoying that if you enter an initial source when creating the profile, the short bio doesnt show.
